Andy Mardell was born in Sweden in 1974. He grew up with a fascination for reading, both comics and books. Starting with classic series like Biggles, Three Investigators and The Famous Five at a young age, switching over to Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dean Koontz, Clive Cussler and Lee Child as he grew up.
The main thing Andy wants as he reads is entertainment. Whether the genre is action, thrillers, fantasy or science fiction, the main purpose is to be entertained. The same goes for his writing.
The dearest thing to Andy, even dearer than reading and writing, is his family. He lives with his wife and three boys slightly north of Stockholm.
